Sagittaria sagittifolia ‘Flore Pleno’ is also known with an invalid name: S. latifolia ‘Flore Pleno’. This double flowering arrowhead is very beautiful and hard to get even in Malaysia. The plants produce two to three leaves per week in tropical climate so it gets invasive. The rhizome of Sagittaria sagittifolia are used respectively by the North American Indians and the Chinese as starchy foods, as are some other species.
